In the past some M1A rifles came from the factory with refurbished U.S.G.I. M14 fiberglass stocks, which were rigid and serviceable, but supplies had begun to run short. Now the company offers a proprietary injection-molded stock that comes on new M1As and is available as a drop-in replacement for older rifles.
The stock accepts U.S.G.I. hardware and incorporates buttstock compartments designed to hold U.S.G.I. cleaning kit components. What’s more, it is molded from a heat-resistant, high-strength polymer that is said to be even stronger than its G.I. predecessor. The stock is available in black, olive drab and two camouflage designs with matching handguards for both standard M1As and those equipped with scout scope rails.
