Smith & Wesson announced its newest line of personal protection pistols at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Charlotte, N.C., called the SD series. Available in both 9 mm and .40 S&W, the pistols are polymer-framed, striker-fired pistols with 4′-inch barrels and Tritium Night Sights. Both pistols are available in standard and “low-capacity” configurations, with standard holding 16+1 rounds and low-capacity 10+1.
