Simmons’ first-ever rangefinder, the LRF 400, operates at ranges from five to 800 yards on reflective targets. Maximum range is about 400 yards for most other objects.

The button-activated digital LCD in the 4X-magnification lens displays distance, a battery charge indicator and a “target acquired” message.

It measures 4.2×3.6×1.9 inches, weighs 7.7 ounces and accepts a single 9-volt battery.
