Freedom Group Inc., one of the largest manufacturers of firearms and ammunition, has grown larger with the acquisition of certain assets of Barnes Bullets.
Since its inception, Barnes’ copper-tin composite core bullets have been popular with civilian, law enforcement and military shooters. As part of the agreement, Barnes Bullets will continue operations at its Mona, Utah location under the guidance of company founder Randy Brooks.

Freedom Group is an umbrella company that owns numerous firearm, ammunition and outdoor product manufacturers including Remington, Bushmaster, Marlin, EOTAC, DPMS and other popular hunting and shooting brands.
Before its recent purchase, Freedom Group employed more than 2,500 people at 15 facilities, distributing products around the world.
