Today’s ATK-owned Weaver is a rapidly changing company. Of course, it continues to have an extensive line of riflescopes, mounts and binoculars. This line has expanded to include some new innovations, such as the 1-5X Dangerous Game Scope that is also going to find a home on a lot of AR-type rifles. Those same shooters are going to love the new red/green dot sight. This one has the ability to switch both the color and the reticle design by turning a dial.
For those of us who remember the old El Paso Weaver scopes, this year the company is offering an 80th Anniversary Edition Model K4 steel tube scope. It comes in a metal box that includes a Weaver Timex Expedition watch. Why? Because you can count on Weaver to perform, time after time. In binoculars, you can choose between Super Slam or Grand Slam (including the new 8-16X model) or the new Classic series of roof prism binoculars.More News click here to view.
Of course, Weaver has a complete and ever-expanding line of rings and mounts. It is branching into the tactical world with mounts as well as accessories for the AR-type rifle. Those include rail-style fore-ends, vertical grips, sling mounts, bipods and much more.
Weaver is also introducing a line of gunsmithing tools, including screwdriver sets, hammers and punches. Also added was a set of levels to allow aligning the reticle on the scope and a torque wrench to ensure the screws are properly tightened.
Weaver is still a leading name in scopes and mounts, but it has become so much more in the past year with the best still to come.
